About
George is a USCCA and NRA-certified instructor with a lifetime of experience around firearms and a strong background in service and public safety. He started shooting at the age of 7, building an early respect for marksmanship, discipline, and safe handling. At 18, he joined the United States Marine Corps, where he further developed his training and leadership skills. After his military service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and went on to work in law enforcement, adding real-world knowledge and experience to the foundation he brings to the classroom. He has been teaching concealed carry classes since 2006, helping students better understand not only how to carry safely and responsibly, but also the mindset and legal awareness that come with it. His classes focus on the real-world application of firearm safety and place a strong emphasis on Virginia firearms law, giving students a clearer understanding of both practical responsibility and the legal framework surrounding concealed carry. His approach to instruction is practical, straightforward, and grounded in decades of experience. Students appreciate the calm, approachable way he teaches and the confidence he helps them build along the way.
